It’s always been valuable. It’s who we are. It’s what each of us craves from birth to the grave. And in today’s world especially – while there is a side of us that knows information is power – there is also a side that knows we can only manage, motivate, and move other people when we go beyond the communication of information or data and actually connect with them… on a level no email, PowerPoint slide, Tweet, or post ever will.
In order for our exchange to move beyond understanding to belief – at a level deep enough to drive action or change – we need to feel that each of us, as living, breathing human beings, is present… right here, right now. We need to feel each other’s energy and awareness, and most importantly, we need to feel each other authentically reach out in an effort to share.
Nothing in this world is more powerful than that kind of human connection. And working for that connection – every minute of every day – should be at the core of all you do.
